Rosa Maria Rinaldi Painting Exhibit
Exhibition open:
20 July to 11 September 2009
Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm
Rosa Maria Rinaldi lives and works in Milan.
Her artistic training occurred in small increments through everyday practice. The artist pursues painting under various forms. The indifference of gravity, perspective and verisimilitude that characterized the "rooms and objects" of her first exhibit return under other semblances in "light bodies." They are painting/drawing works that have as their inspiration the hypothesis of a world in which we can move in any direction: the works can be turned upside-down and their meaning stays the same.
Techniques are mixed: oil, acrylic, pencil.
Random multiplication, repetition, alteration, addition and subtraction of images make up the themes of the recent works.
Photography is added to painting, constructing impossible and dreamlike landscapes from possible worlds.
